One day in every hundred years, Death takes a holiday. In the tavern on
Fiddler's Green he sits down with the mariners and calvarymen and pilots and
they take turns telling lies. The taler who lies the best gets his (or her)
liquor free. Death always tells the truth, which is why she always wins.
